Would you give me a brief description of when Goldie River Primary school was established and by who?
Hi Greg, Mick – just confirming you are on the ‘Roll of Service’ Mick.
Just to clarify, the Roll is specifically for NSW Education Dept employees who were posted to PNG (at least initially) during their National Service. About 100 are listed.
Cheers
Steve Beveridge
My name is on this list of RAAEC personnel who served in PNG while doing National Service. I was in PNG as a Nasho in 68-69 but not with the Chalkies. I was in 2PIR as an Infantry platoon commander. My occupation both before and after Nashos was with the NSW Dept of education as a teacher. Hence I am not averse to being mentioned here but it is not historically accurate.
